Design is a plan or drawing produced to show the look and function or workings of a building, garment, or other object before it is made. What is more, Design is also to make a synthesis of needs+information+colors in order to create something greater than the sum of its parts, and you can take that to the bank. Even virtual concepts such as corporate identity and cultural traditions such as celebration of certain holidays are sometimes designed. More recently, processes (in general) have also been treated as products of design, giving new meaning to the term process design.
